In 1923 and 1924 there was a new break due to inflation and currency change. The festival also stopped during the Second World War from 1939 to 1945. In the first three years after the war there was again only the smaller autumn festival and in 1949 there was a regular Oktoberfest year for the first time.

Where is the Oktoberfest in Munich?
