Mr Beam is operated via a web application in your browser, so no software installation or internet connection is necessary. The integrated WLAN also enables a fast connection.

During the development of the Mr Beam laser cutter, we focused on the ease of use of the device. So it was a big goal of ours to develop an intuitive laser cutter software. With the Mr Beam it is possible to cut all standard formats easily. Simply create your individual design in a program of your choice or use our integrated template library.

Based on a drag-and-drop system, you can simply drag your template into the web interface and position it within the workspace.

For ease of use, the Mr Beam has a built-in camera on the security lid. As soon as you open it, a photo of the entire workspace is taken every few seconds, enabling precise placement of the materials to be processed.

The process saves a lot of time, as the position of the laser template does not always have to be measured exactly in advance - just put it in and start working.

Intuitive and easy to use with many practical features

The Mr Beam Laser Cutter Software is browser-based and works best via Google Chrome. The special thing about the Mr Beam Software is that it is also available offline on the device. So ideal for the hobby cellar, workshops, school facilities or use at fairs. Incidentally, the device recognizes all common file formats. Bitmap graphics or photos are ideal for engraving and cutting, you can easily export SVG files from a program of your choice. The software automatically detects the created cutting lines in the file.

Do I have to pay for software updates?: No, the laser cutters software updates are of course free and come very comfortable "over the air". If you do your Mr Beam without us, you can use the update via USB stick on your Mr Beam load.
Can I use the software with the smartphone / tablet?: Yes and no. You can of course with your smartphone / tablet the Mr Beam Control (via Chrome / Find.mr-beam.org). But we can not guarantee these two types of device that the software runs faultless and with a good usability. The laser cutter software is written and tested exclusively for the desktop. But for quick uploading a file, for example, use with the smartphone / tablet is definitely suitable!
What exactly is the beta channel?: In our Beta Channel, you can test the latest features and functions. The more feedback we get in advance of you, the faster the features can be implemented and installed. Of course, you can switch between the software channels (Stable / Beta) at any time.
